AMELIA ISLAND FILM
FESTIVAL
If you are a movie lover, Amelia Island is the place to be during the last weekend in February.
The second Amelia Island Film
Festival, titled "The Filmmakers' Festival", will take place
February 25 - March 1 at several venues in Historic Downtown
Fernandina.
The festival will showcase
films in a variety of categories, including Feature (over 40
minutes), Short (1 to 39 minutes), Animation, Documentary,
Narrative Fiction and much more.

Thursday, Feb. 25
• "Welcome to the Festival"
at the Hampton Inn & Suites • 11 am
• Island Overview for
Visiting Filmmakers at the Amelia Island Museum of History •
1 pm
• Meet and Greet receptions
at six downtown locations
4:30, 5:30 & 6:30 pm
Food included with cash bar

Friday, Feb. 26
• Screenings at three venues
11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm
(Tickets $10 per screening at
the door)
• Amelia Island Art
Association venue with photography, art presentations and
reception • Noon - 5 pm
Saturday, Feb. 27
• Screenings at three venues
11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm
(Tickets $10 per screening at
the door)
• Free kids event at Bean
School of Dance • 1-4 pm
Sunday, Feb. 28
• Screenings at three venues
11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm
• Wrap Party at Sheffield's
at the Palace • 7:30 pm

Monday, March 1
• AIFF Awards Ceremony at the
Hampton Inn & Suites • 11 am
Advanced ticket plans can be
purchased prior to February 1. The All-Access Pass is $75.
