Special winter events include a Lighted Holiday Parade and the Nutcracker Ballet, both on Dec. 8; New Year's Eve celebrations at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and Amelia Island Plantation; the annual Gator Bowl game in Jacksonville on New Year's Day, and the 31st annual Antiques Show and Sale Feb. 15-17.
