Two annual events highlight the spring season on Amelia Island.

The Bausch & Lomb Championships, one of the longest running tournaments on the women's professional tennis tour, returns to Amelia Island Plantation the week of April 5-11, 2004. Join in the excitement as this event celebrates its 25th anniversary. Past champions include Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf, Gabriela Sabatini, Aranxta Sanchez Vicario, Monica Seles, Lindsay Davenport and defending champion Elena Dementieva.
