WINTER IN PARADISE

     Amelia Island offers visitors a much-needed break from the bitter cold that sweeps through most of the nation during the winter months. The average high temperature for the months of December, January and February is around 65 degrees. This is perfect weather for a leisurely round of golf, a fishing trip, a stroll along the beach or a sightseeing adventure through Historic Downtown Fernandina.

     Special events during the winter season include the Amelia Arts Academy's  Progressive Dinner on January 26; and the 24th Annual Antiques Show & Sale to benefit the Amelia Island - Fernandina Beach Restoration Foundation on February 23, 24 and 25.
