The Streets of Fernandina are alive with art, music and food during the Shrimp Festival.

     It's never too early to look ahead and see what special events will be happening on Amelia Island in the spring of next year.
     The first big event of spring is the Sixth Annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, to be
held March 9 - 11, 2001, at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island.
     In April, Amelia hosts a stop on the women's professional tennis tour as the Bausch & Lomb
Championships are held at Amelia Island Plantation April 9-15. Two-time defending Champion
Monica Seles will be here to battle challengers including past champions Lindsay Davenport, Mary

     The biggest event of springtime is the 38th annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival, May
3-6. The Shrimp Festival is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in the south. The streets of
