Coming in Fall
| The 2003 Amelia Book Island Festival is a
highlight of the fall season on Amelia Island. This year's event will be held on the
weekend of October 2-5 at various venues all over the island. The festival schedule includes readings by the authors,workshops for all stages of the writing and publishing process, and panel discussions from publishers, publicists and agents. This year's featured author is Newberry Award winner Lois Lowry, whose works include The Giver and Number the Stars. Tickets are $15 and include admission to any and all workshops you would like to attend. Tickets for the luncheon with authors are $15.
