Wild Amelia Nature Festival

The Wild Amelia Nature Festival May 15-17 invites residents and visitors to experience the wild side of Amelia Island.

With more than 25 seminars and experiences, this three-day festival offers something for everyone. Opportunities include a Segway tour of Ft. George Island, kayaking the marshes along Ft. Clinch State Park, and exploration of bird habitats by bike.

On Saturday, May 16, stop by the Atlantic Avenue Recreation Center for a keynote presentation by noted photographer Will Dickey, along with seminars on a variety of photographic topics. The Kids Niche, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature crafts, activites and games to help kids learn about the animals that call this area home.
