One of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the southeastern United States, the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival transforms the quiet streets of historic downtown Fernandina into a weekend-long celebration of art, seafood, pirates, music and fun!
Pirates will roam the streets of Fernandina during the annual Shrimp
Festival May 2-4. Celebrating all things shrimp since 1964 - catching them, cooking
them, eating them and even drawing them - the Shrimp Festival has recently been named a
Top 20 event by the Southeast Tourism Society. This year's lineup of food and
entertainment featuring musical artists from all over the nation is sure to live up to
that distinction.
