The first weekend in May brings the Isle of Eight
Flags Shrimp Festival to the streets of downtown Fernandina. This celebration offers
something for the whole family, from arts, crafts and antique displays, live music,
fireworks, the Invasion of Pirates, a Children's Fun Zone and of course, lots of delicious
local shrimp, fish and other delicacies from
the sea.
