The Volkswagen Heritage Celebration brings classic cars
and 50's nostalgia to Centre Street.

VOLKSWAGEN HERITAGE CELEBRATION
October 22-24

     For the sixth consecutive year, Historic Downtown Fernandina will provide the perfect setting for a nostalgic journey back to a time when gasoline prices were low and performance was high. Over 300 special interest vehicles - antiques, classics, street rods, customs and vintage Volkswagens - are expected to line Centre Street during the celebration.
     The weekend kicks off on Friday night, October 22, with a "50's Sock Hop" at the Recreation Center.
     On Saturday, October 23, the Celebration on Centre Street begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
     Also included in the weekend's festivities are historical, cultural and art exhibits, along with a variety of food booths.
