There is no better place than Amelia Island to spend a few days relaxing
during the mild fall season. The climate is perfect for a variety of outdoor activities including golf, tennis, fishing, sailing and swimming.

While on Amelia Island, be sure to do some sightseeing. Fernandina's
50-block downtown Historic District is not to be missed. Top off your
stay with a sampling of fine dining and shopping from the many
restaurants and retail stores on the island.

Special events during the fall include Jacksonville Jaguars football,
the Volkswagen Heritage Classic Car Celebration Oct. 23-25; the annual
Florida - Georgia game in Jacksonville Oct. 31; and the Victorian
Seaside Christmas celebration.
