| When the calendar turns to the
months of fall, the temperatures get cooler, football gets hotter, and Amelia Island plays
host to several unique special events.
The Amelia Book Island Festival offers something for book lovers of all ages the weekend of Oct. 5-8 ; for music lovers, the Amelia Island Jazz Festival will bring nationally-renowned peformers here from Oct. 13-15.; and for the sports fans, the annual Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville is set for Oct. 28.
