FALL BREAK

   As the warm days of summer give way to the cooler months of autumn, Amelia Island becomes an even more perfect setting for outdoor activities. Enjoy golf, fishing, tennis, sailing, kayaking, horseback riding, beachcombing or sightseeing.

In addition to outdoor fun, Amelia offers a variety of antique shops, boutiques, craft stores and restaurants.

Special events during the fall months include the Amelia Book Island Festival October 2-5; Jacksonville Jaguars football; the annual Florida Georgia-game in Jacksonville on November 1; a month-long art exhibit by local artist Natalie Babson at the Waterwheel Gallery, beginning on November 13; and the annual tour of Bed & Breakfast Inns on December 6-7.
